LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Documents You Cannot Do Without

Every business has certain registrations and licenses that are required before you can start your business. In putting up a security agency, you basically need the following:

(a) DTI registration - for single proprietorships
(b) SEC registration - for partnerships and corporations
(c) License to Operate - issued by the PNP-CSG
(d) BIR registration
(e) Business permit - issued by the LGU where your business is located
(f) SSS registration
(g) PHILHEALTH registration
(i) PAG-IBIG registration
(j) PADPAO membership registration

These licenses and registrations should be displayed prominently in your office for easy reference of government inspectors, who from time to time are obliged to drop by your office to do their jobs.
